About Us

Jorvan Prep School is the much anticipated younger sibling of Jorvan Community Outreach, established in 2005 by Brian and Melanie Vandayar. The Outreach saw the elevation of the learning experiences of students from under privileged areas within Mitchells Plain, Cape Town. After years of developing their formula for success, turning around the academic careers of many students, they have expanded their reach to pre-school going children.

Along with their biological daughter Jordan, they have decided to extend this formula for success to children in the early education phase. They are passionate about the holistic development of the children as it is known that each child has their own strengths and learns differently. In saying this the curriculum is a culmination of all the "working parts" of various teaching practices.
